A word from her below about how she makes these incredible pieces!!
"I sculpt each of my ceramic Quality Street by hand, I make each clay 'twist' and then attach them using score and slip. The pieces are left to dry for a few days and then they go into my kiln where they are fired to 1050 degrees. Once cooled I set to work with my brightly coloured glazes, each gets at least 3 coats of glaze to make sure the colour coverage is perfect. They go back in the kiln and after 24hrs they are cool enough to handle, at this point I apply the metallic lusters to the purple, pink, blue and yellow pieces. They go back into the kiln for another firing and once cooled they are all ready for their brightly coloured ribbons! Few pics below of 'the process' attached."
